Your vehicles are one of the biggest purchases you’ll make — and most people leave them sitting outside, taking a beating from the weather every single day. UV rays fade paint and crack dashboards. Hail leaves dents you didn’t budget for. Heavy snow crushes roof panels, and salt and moisture quietly eat away at metal underneath. On top of that, vehicles stored outdoors depreciate significantly faster than those kept under cover, directly impacting your resale value.
That’s where we come in. At Bargain Metal Buildings, we build custom-engineered metal garages designed for your specific climate and professionally installed on your property. We’re not shipping you a generic kit and wishing you luck — we engineer every garage for your exact ZIP code’s weather requirements, factoring in local wind load ratings, snow load capacity, and environmental conditions. Pick the size that fits your vehicles, choose from a wide range of customization options, and we take care of everything from delivery to full installation. The result? Decades of low-maintenance protection that keeps your vehicles looking good and holding their value.

Ready to stop gambling with the weather? Call us at (866) 941-4072 for a free quote that covers ZIP code-specific engineering, delivery, and professional installation. We’ve got flexible financing and rent-to-own options for any budget — so there’s no reason to wait another storm season.
Your vehicles are sitting out there right now — baking in the sun, getting pelted by hail, soaking in the rain. Or you’re wrestling with a cramped single-car garage that barely fits one car, let alone two.
Every day without shelter costs you. UV rays fade paint, temperature swings crack dashboards, and winter speeds up rust in ways most people don’t notice until it’s too late (NIH). Garaged vehicles hold their resale value better and need fewer repairs.
Our 2-car garages fix that. You get transparent pricing, free delivery anywhere in the continental United States, and professional installation included — no surprise fees. Call us at (866) 941-4072 or schedule a free consultation and we’ll size it for your property, your vehicles, and your budget.
Standard 2-car garages range from 20×20 to 32×60 feet, with 24×24 being the most popular size we sell. That dimension gives you comfortable clearance for two mid-size vehicles plus storage space along the walls.
Our 20×20 model works great for compact cars or sedans when your lot is tight. The 22×22 adds breathing room — enough for door clearance and some basic storage. Our bestselling 24×24 garage fits two mid-size SUVs or trucks with workspace left over. Got larger vehicles or want a real workshop? We supply up to 32×60.
Think beyond your current vehicles when picking dimensions. The 24×24 configuration gives you roughly 3 feet of clearance on all sides when two vehicles are parked inside — enough to swing doors open fully and walk around without turning sideways. If you’re planning to store ATVs, lawn equipment, or set up a workbench, our 26×26, 30×30, and larger options give you dedicated space beyond just vehicle parking.
Our standard 2-car garage comes with dual 9×9 overhead doors, which handle most passenger vehicles, SUVs, and pickup trucks. That door size gives you clearance for vehicles up to 8 feet wide and 7.5 feet tall.
Drive a lifted truck? Own a van or tall equipment? We offer 9×10 and 10×10 door upgrades. Side entry doors are available too — handy for getting in and out without rolling up the main overhead doors every time.
Before you order, measure your available space and check local setback requirements. Most municipalities want structures set back 3–10 feet from property lines, though rules vary by location.
Measure the planned installation area, then add at least 2 feet on every side for construction access and water runoff. Once you place your order, we send over a detailed site preparation checklist.
Our 2-car garages range from $2,000 to $61,361 depending on size, materials, and customization. Most customers end up budgeting for three pieces: the building structure, the concrete foundation, and site prep work.
The garage building itself — walls, roof, doors, framing — varies based on dimensions and material choice:
These prices include the complete structure with standard features: galvanized steel framing, metal siding and roofing, dual 9×9 overhead doors, and free nationwide delivery. Want insulation, upgraded doors, windows, or storage lofts? Those add to the base price.
Material choice makes a real difference in what you’ll pay. Our standard galvanized steel construction delivers the best value-to-durability ratio — and it’s not even close. Wood-framed garages with vinyl siding typically run 20% more than comparable metal structures and demand more maintenance down the road.
The concrete slab foundation is typically a separate expense. A proper 4–6 inch reinforced concrete slab runs approximately $4–$8 per square foot depending on your location and site conditions.
For our most popular sizes, here’s what to expect:
Why don’t we bundle foundation costs into our pricing? Because site-specific variables make standardized numbers misleading. Your property might have rocky soil that needs excavation, a slope requiring grading, or perfect conditions needing almost no prep. We can connect you with qualified local concrete contractors who know exactly what our garage structures require for a solid foundation.
We ship your complete garage structure from the manufacturing facility to your property anywhere in the continental United States — free. That’s real savings. Commercial freight shipping for a 24×24 garage typically runs $1,500–$3,500.
Free delivery includes professional freight transport, delivery to your property (as long as a delivery truck can reach it), and unloading of all components at your specified location. What’s not included: site preparation, foundation installation, assembly labor, or delivery to spots a standard freight truck can’t access.
Metal and steel garages deliver the best value for durability and low maintenance, though wood and vinyl options work well for specific aesthetic preferences and HOA requirements.
A quick clarification we get asked about constantly: ‘steel garages’ refers specifically to galvanized steel construction — the most durable and rust-resistant option out there. ‘Metal garage’ is broader and might include aluminum or other alloys.
Our structures use 12–14 gauge galvanized steel framing with steel siding and roofing panels. Galvanization means the steel gets coated with zinc, giving it superior rust and corrosion resistance.
Properly maintained galvanized steel structures last 30–40 years in most climates. The galvanized coating protects against moisture, insects, and fire. Unlike wood, steel won’t warp, crack, or rot. Termites and carpenter ants? Not interested. And because it’s non-combustible, you may see lower homeowner’s insurance premiums.
Maintenance is minimal: wash off dirt and debris occasionally, inspect fasteners and seals once a year, and fix any scratches promptly.
Wood-framed garages with vinyl or wood siding appeal to homeowners who prioritize traditional aesthetics or face HOA restrictions that prohibit metal buildings. These structures use dimensional lumber framing with vinyl siding, wood siding, or board-and-batten exteriors.
The advantages are real — traditional appearance that matches residential architecture, easier attachment of shelving and accessories, better sound dampening. But wood garages cost 20% more upfront and need regular maintenance to prevent rot, warping, and insect damage. That adds up.
Want metal durability with wood aesthetics? We offer metal structures with wood-grain finish panels or vinyl siding over steel framing. Best of both worlds.
Your climate should absolutely influence your material decision. In coastal areas with salt air, galvanized steel with additional protective coating far outperforms wood, which absorbs moisture and breaks down fast.
Northern climates with heavy snow loads? Steel’s strength allows steeper roof pitches and reinforced framing that handles serious weight without sagging. In tornado-prone regions, properly anchored steel garages provide superior wind resistance.
And in the arid Southwest, intense UV exposure fades and degrades wood and vinyl siding within 5–10 years. Metal panels with UV-resistant coatings? They hold their appearance for decades.
We deliver your 2-car garage free to your property anywhere in the continental United States, with typical delivery times of 4–8 weeks depending on location and our current production schedule.
Because we order in volume, we’ve negotiated freight rates that would cost individual customers 2–3 times more on their own. Instead of passing those shipping costs along to each customer separately, we’ve built delivery into our base pricing.
Free delivery covers professional freight transportation from our manufacturing partner’s facility to your property address. That means loading your garage components onto commercial freight trucks, transit insurance, delivery to your specified location, and unloading of all materials.
Our delivery team reaches out 24–48 hours before arrival to confirm you’re available and go over site access. They’ll need clear access for a large freight truck and room to maneuver for unloading.
Delivery timeframes vary by region and current production volume. From order confirmation to delivery:
Custom orders with specialized features may add 1–2 weeks. We give you a specific delivery estimate based on your location when you place your order.
Before delivery day, your property needs a level, compacted area where the garage will sit, clear access for a freight truck approximately 40–50 feet long, and enough space for unloading and staging materials.
Most customers either pour their concrete foundation 1–2 weeks before garage delivery or have materials delivered first, then schedule foundation and installation together. We include a detailed site preparation checklist with your order confirmation.
What size 2-car garage do I need? A 24×24 garage is our most popular size, giving you comfortable space for two mid-size vehicles with room for wall storage. Consider 20×20 for compact cars or 26×26+ if you need workshop space.
How much does a 2-car garage cost installed? Total costs range from $3,600 to $68,561 including structure and foundation. A typical 24×24 metal garage costs $8,000–$16,500 for the structure plus $2,300–$4,600 for the concrete foundation.
Is metal or wood better for a garage? Metal garages offer better durability and lower maintenance costs, lasting 30–40 years with minimal upkeep. Wood garages cost 20% more and require painting every 3–5 years but may be required by HOA regulations.
What does free delivery include? Free delivery includes freight transportation and unloading anywhere in the continental U.S. It does not include site preparation, foundation installation, or assembly labor.
